Supplication

       sup·pli·ca·tion

the action of asking or begging for something earnestly or humbly.

>”he fell to his knees in supplication”

What we ask of any perceived higher consciousness in prayer or divination speaks directly to our character development; where we are on the path.

A goal of the theist may be to align their prayers with faithfulness; to ask for nothing and remain in alignment.

A goal of the atheist may be to experience their lack of prayer and supplication as total acceptance of life as it presents itself; to ask for nothing and remain in alignment.

>”I am not a business man; I want what God wants. We are in alignment.” – Osho
